Precision molded fine mesh openings help prevent specimen loss while allowing optimal fluid exchange during processing and embedding. The integrated one piece construction features a hinged lid that remains attached, allowing repeated opening and closing without the risk of separation. The 35° angled design provides a large slanted writing surface that improves label visibility and works well with both manual marking and automated cassette printers. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassette for your convenience. Each slot measures: 1x5 mm. Two dispenser boxes of 500 cassettes. One box of 1000 lids.

There are three textured surfaces that can be written on to offer users easy identification and organization. The cassette are able to work with solvents and decalcifying solutions. This measures 30 mm x 24 mm x 11 mm.

Supa Mega Slim Cassettes are an innovative solution for the processing and embedding of large tissue specimens. They are half the depth of a conventional Supa Mega Cassette, offering significant improvements in processing time, and ensures distortion free, consistent high quality tissue processing. Used in conjunction with the Supa Mega Slim embedding mould, they cast in 20 minutes at -8 degree C, compared to 50 minutes for conventional Supa Mega Blocks.
The novel hexagonal pore design offers a greater open surface area, compared to the slots of conventional Supa Mega Cassettes. This ensures a more efficient flow of reagents during processing and reduces carry over of reagents. The increased open surface area also reduces the occurrence of embedded specimens being separated from the cassette when sectioning fibrous specimens, as it significantly increases the binding between the embedded tissue block and the cassette.
